About

A Bit About Me:

I grew up in the woods near a small town just North of Grand Rapids, MI. Throughout my adult life, I have lived in various places around Michigan for school and work. Photography came as a hobby and a passion alongside my pursuits in science. I am fascinated by the natural world and the methods of exploring it through. Photography turned out to be an excellent tool.

Tools and Methods:

The majority of my photos are taken on a DSLR; however, I often use my phone with surprisingly good results. Currently, I have a Nikon D3200 with various Nikkor lenses for either shooting landscape, up close, or the night sky. I use a T-adapter alongside my DSLR for faint night sky objects through a telescope. All photos are edited in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
